Fish and Friends

Over the years we have had quite the menagerie in our pond, some short lived visitors, some long term beloved members of our family.




We thrill to the arrival of the frogs. Count them as they appear, laugh at their high diving antics off to the rocks, listen in peace to their songs at night. They seem to arrive en masse in August. Interestingly enough, the very first frog of the year is a tree frog, who appears on our garage, hops around the pond, but never to be seen after that. Then, the green pond frogs arrive.
